デビュー・アルバム《The Kick Inside》（1978）から《The Red Shoes》（1993）まで７タイトルを纏めた《Remastered Part I》はリリースの直後に入手した。《Remastered Part II》（Fish People 2018）は手許にあるアルバム（CD）と重複するので購入を躊躇っていた。《Aerial》（2005）、《Director's Cut》《50 Words For Snow》（2011）、《Before The Dawn》（2016）の４タイトルとアルバム未収録曲（シングルＢ面、リミックス、カヴァなど）をコンパイルしたボックス（11CD）。《Part I》よりもスリムなのに価格が高かったのは２枚組の《Aerial》、３枚組のライヴ・アルバム《Before The Dawn》、４枚組の《The Other Sides》が含まれているから。購入の決め手は安価になったことと、未入手だった《Before The Dawn》とリミックス・アルバム‥‥前者は35年振りのライヴ（155分）で、《Hounds Of Love》（1985）のＢ面を丸ごと再現。後者は同アルバムのＡ面４曲とシングル〈Experiment IV〉の「12" Mixes」を収録している。当時購入した５枚の12インチ盤には愛着があるので、この機会にリマスターCDで聴き直したかったのだ。
